Sweeney Todd

Sweeney Todd was a movie about revenge, Sweeney Todd formerly known as Benjamin Barker, came back to London to get his revenge on Judge Turpin for taking his family from him. When he arrives Ms. Lovett makes Todd think his wife Lucy is dead so that fuels his fire even more.  Throughout the movie Todd is killing people in his barbershop above Ms. Lovetts store then sending the body down to the basement for Ms.Lovett to bake them in her pies which is just so gross. She serves them to customers and they absolutely  love them. Its hard for me to think about eating another person in my pie so that part of the movie was disturbing to me. I didn't mind all the killing cause Ive seen movies much worse and the blood kinda looked fake to me. Todd uses his razors which he calls his "friends" and at one point in the movie said "At last! My arm is complete again! ". During the movie they sang which was entertaining to me, I liked the singing it made the movie.  The tunes and lyrics were funny and it made sense with the scene that was taking place. Overall I really enjoyed the movie and thought it was really good except for the ending. I didn't want Todd to die especially killed with his own "friends" his razors, I thought him and Ms. Lovett should have lived happily ever after with Toby.

  2. That is what I've been saying about the blood in the film, "It looks too fake!", but the film was great. I liked how it threw me into a suspense towards the end when he started killing everyone, I was like "YES!, Kill them all! Ahahahahahaha!". So much anger and hate that in the end he lost everything he had when he thought he didn't have anything. Again I enjoyed the movie none-the-less.

  3. I hated the singing! I was dreading everytime another song was about to come on! I do agree with you though on the fact that the killing didn't really bother me cause I have also seen way more scary and realistic scary movies.
